I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Certification in Project Management by a recognized project management organization or Scrum Master a plus.
Project managers are the people in charge of a specific project or projects within a company. As the project manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Project managers might work by themselves or be in charge of a team to get the job done. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required and should be noted on the resume. Proof of certification may be requested.
Contractor will support the State Health Analytics Reporting Platform (SHARP) by managing a project which will enhance the system to expand the reporting available to program area users. Contractor will manage a vendor software development team and coordinate with the in-house software team, and collaborate with the program area to keep them informed and involved as appropriate. Contractor will manage the schedule, budget and scope for this project.
Contractor will be required to be on site 3 days per week, but this is subject to change and could increase to 5 days per week in the future.

Note: Expected Start Date 04/06/2026 and Expected End Date 08/31/2026. May be renewed up to 3 years.
This position is On-site. Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA (Within 50-mile radius). Position will begin with requirement to be on site 3 days per week, but this is subject to change and could increase to 5 days per week in the future.
Beginning Schedule: Position will be 2 days remote with 3 days (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays) required to be on-site Austin, TX 78751.
Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed. The worker may be required to work outside the normal business hours on weekends, evenings and holidays, as requested.
