Data Conversion Specialist (SR-5269058-DCS)

I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The scope of the proposed services will include the following:
- Analyze and map data from the old system to the new one.
- Develop and implement data conversion plans.
- Design and execute data validation and testing processes.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data conversion process.
- Collaborate with LDWF stakeholders and OTS technical teams to define and prioritize data conversion requirements.
- Provide technical knowledge transfer, training, and documentation to OTS and LDWF Agency staff for all requested work.
- Participate by providing feedback and detailed design and implementation approaches in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum ceremonies.
- Cooperation with LDWF’s Technical Architect and other OTS technical teams to ensure compliance with OTS standards of State applications.
- Perform all other tasks, special projects, analysis, studies, and plans as directed.
II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

| 2 | Required | Advanced SQL experience writing complex queries, joins, and stored procedures to identify anomalies and transform data types. |
| 2 | Required | ETL experience using enterprise tools (Informatica, SSIS) or scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) to move data from Point A to Point B. |
| 4 | Required | Working on data migration or data integration projects with specific experience in Data Profiling, Schema Mapping, Data Normalization, and Error Handling. |
| 2 | Preferred | Experience with creating documentation such as data mapping documents and data dictionaries. |
| 2 | Preferred | Working on a development team. |
| 2 | Preferred | Experience with client engagements on design, delivery, deployment and on-going maintenance. |
| 2 | Preferred | Working in an Agile/Scrum environment. |
Note: Expected Start Date 07/01/2026 and Expected End Date 06/30/2029.
Hours worked should be within the State’s core hours of 7:00 AM CT to 6:00 PM CT. In addition, Contractor personnel may be required to work on State holidays, weekends and hours outside of the State’s core business hours in order to meet critical deadlines.
