Meet the general qualifications of a Software Engineer 3 and the specifications outlined in this document. This position is part of the HHSC IT Administrative Applications Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team and will play a crucial role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining RPA solutions. The Software Engineer 3 will perform developer duties that will include solution design and development, process automations, infrastructure management, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The contractor role is for a senior robotics developer for technologies that may include BluePrism, Microsoft Power Automate, and Azure. The role will be responsible for developing, testing, and troubleshooting bots that will automate various business processes. Hands-on experience with BluePrism, Microsoft Power Automate, and Azure is a must along with the ability to troubleshoot and validate HTTP responses. Knowledge of DOM, HTTP protocol, JavaScript, and HTML is also required. This will be a fast-paced project working in an Agile (Kanban/Scrum) environment.

Note: Expected Start Date 12/15/2025 and Expected End Date 08/31/2026. May be renewed for 3 years.
This position is Hybrid - On Site and Telework with 3 days remote and 2 days (Mondays and Tuesdays) required to be onsite. The final work schedule will be determined by immediate supervisor/manager. Program will only accept LOCAL candidates for this position.
Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed. Candidate may be required to work outside the normal business hours on weekends, evenings and holidays, as requested.
